Privacy policy

MyReply is operated by Haohua Huang. This policy describes how the MyReply iPhone app, web app, and service process information. Contact buryhuang@gmail.com about privacy or deletion requests.

Your account

The website uses Google sign-in through InsForge. The iPhone app offers Google and Apple sign-in. These providers supply an account identifier and, if available, your email or Apple private relay address. InsForge processes your Google sign-in and maintains its authentication identity record. We use them to identify your account. MyReply keeps its own revocable sessions; Apple refresh tokens are encrypted in the database so authorization can be revoked when you delete your account.

Information you provide

The service processes your search topics, writing-voice instructions, selected post context, and replies you choose to save. Saved reply records can include the original AI draft. Avoid entering confidential information or information about other people that you do not want processed.

Information from X

Search results may include public post text, author handles, post links and identifiers, timestamps, and engagement counts. These discoveries are stored in the service database so you can revisit them in History.

AI processing

Before the first search or draft, MyReply asks for your agreement to the data sharing described here. You can review or turn off this permission in Settings or Account. Turning it off prevents subsequent AI requests; it does not recall data already sent to providers.

Search topics are sent to DigitalOcean’s inference service to prepare search queries, and to xAI to find relevant public posts on X. When you request a draft, the selected post, author, topic, suggested reply angle, your writing-voice instructions, and up to eight recently saved replies are sent to DigitalOcean’s inference service to generate suggestions. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. MyReply does not control their retention policies.

Storage and purpose

MyReply uses this information to find conversations, generate replies, personalize writing, and show your history. The application is hosted through InsForge; the account database is hosted through InstaCloud. Scan results, saved replies, and writing-voice settings remain in the service until removed or the service is retired. Infrastructure logs may contain network addresses and request diagnostics for operation and security. Retention of infrastructure logs and backups may differ from the live database.

On your device

The iPhone app stores its sign-in session in the iOS Keychain. The website uses a secure, HTTP-only sign-in cookie. Topic preferences and pending writing-voice edits may be stored locally and are separated by account. Signing out clears the visible personal data and the current session; it does not delete server-side records.

Posting and external services

MyReply does not request your X password or publish automatically. Opening a post or reply in X takes you to an external service governed by its own policies. Text is copied to your clipboard only when you choose Copy.

Advertising and tracking

MyReply does not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs and does not sell your personal information. Data is shared with service providers as described above to operate the features you request.

Your choices

You can edit or clear your writing voice, remove individual replies, and delete your account from Settings on iPhone or Account on the website. Account deletion removes the account, live scan history, saved replies, writing preferences, and MyReply sessions, and revokes the stored Apple authorizations. For Google accounts, deletion also removes the InsForge authentication identity. Infrastructure backups may persist under the providers’ retention policies. You can also email support about access, correction, or deletion.

Access and security

Your history, saved replies, and writing preferences are separated from other accounts. MyReply requires sign-in to access them. We limit authentication attempts and daily AI requests to protect the service. Existing owner data remains reserved for its owner and is never assigned to a new signup.

Children and changes

MyReply is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated effective date.
